The Missy Whalen Memorial Scholarship was announced shortly after her death,
November 26, 2014.
 
Missy Graduated from
Bishop Carroll Catholic High School,
Class of 1990.
 
She then graduated from
Wichita State University, Class of 1995.
 
The Missy Whalen Memorial Scholarship is awarded on a yearly basis to a graduating Bishop Carroll senior to attend Wichita State University.
 
The first recipient received the scholarship in May of 2017.
